What is the purpose of leagues?
Leagues allow you to keep track of your win / loss against a specific group of people. They also allow you to view league specific stats (as opposed to the cumulative stats on your profile). Say you are playing at a house party on Friday night and want to see how you shot that night. You can start a "Friday Night House Party" league and then view your stats for that particular night. Those stats will also be included in your overall percentage. You could also start a league for a specific time frame - for example "July-September".

How do I register for a league / tournament?
Find the league / tournament you wish to register for, enter the league page and hit "Request to register". Most likely, a league admin will have to approve your request; however, if the league is set to auto-approve, you will automatically be registered.

How do I add players to my league / tournament?
You can either have players register for your league / tournament or add them manually. You must be a league / tournament admin in order to add players manually. There are 3 ways to this:
Through the PongTracker website: Go to the desired league / tournament, hit "Add User" and follow the instructions.
Through the PongTracker iPhone application: Go to Team 1 or Team 2, hit "Add User" and follow the instructions.
Through the PongTracker Dektop application: Under the desired league hit "Add User" and follow the instructions.
All that is required to add a player is their email address and a username. If the player is not yet registered with PongTracker, they will be automatically registered once you add them and receive a conformation email with a temporary password. If you are adding a player that is already registered with PongTracker, make sure to use the email address that they originally registered with.

How do I form a team?
There are three ways you can form a team:
Find your prospective teammates profile and hit "Form a Team". Once your teammate approves the request, the team will be formed.
When requesting to register for a league / tournament that is set to "Team" mode, there is a "Register With Existing Friend" and a "Register with a New PongTracker User" option. You will automatically be placed on a team with whomever you register with.
If you record a game with a random teammate, you will automatically form a team with them.

How do I record a game?
There are 3 ways to record a game. Regardless of which path you choose, you must first register on PongTracker.com, join or create a league/tournament and add users or have users register for your league
Record a game through the PongTracker website
Record a game through the PongTracker desktop application
Record a game through the PongTracker iPhone application

Why can't I record a game?
You are most likely not part of any league / tournament. You must have a league / tournament associated with your profile to record games. You must also make sure their are other users in your league / tournament - after all you can't play by yourself. See the How do I record a game?" FAQ for more details.

I have recorded a game, why isn't it reflected in my stats?
Most likely the league that the game was recorded in requires a league admin to approve the game before it is officially reflected in your stats.

What is the purpose of the PongTracker Desktop Application?
The desktop application allows you to record beer pong games without being connected to the internet. Simply upload the results of the Beer Pong games when you connect back to the internet. You can dowload the application here

Why can't I start a game?
Most likely you do not have a league or tournament associated with your user profile. Make sure to create or join a league or tournament before attempting to start a game. You must also make sure there are at least 2 users in the league to record a singles game or at least 4 users to record a doubles game.

How do I switch team views when recording a game?
You can either hit the "Switch Team" button in the upper left hand corner or "flick" your finger across the screen.
